community initiative dedicated to improving the quality of life for Veteran,
military families, first responders, and service-driven professionals. Our
approach centers on connection, purpose, and long-term support.

Why We Exist

Too many who served fall through the cracks after service. Existing systems are often fragmented, reactive, and difficult to navigate. FOB Greybeard was created to close those gaps with a practical, veteran-led model that restores purpose, connection, and community.

FOB Greybeard Foundation INC

FOB Greybeard Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in coastal North Carolina dedicated to serving veterans and their families through a practical, mission-ready “Forward Operating Base” (FOB) model. The Foundation exists to close critical gaps in veteran transition, wellness, and economic stability—especially in rural and underserved communities where access to coordinated services is limited.

FOB Greybeard delivers wrap-around support in one centralized campus, integrating skills training, transitional employment, peer-based mental health support and community reintegration. Rather than sending veterans to navigate fragmented systems, FOB Greybeard brings essential services together in a disciplined, outcomes-driven environment modeled after military operational culture structured, accountable, and purpose-focused.

The Foundation’s flagship initiative is the development of a Community Facilities

Project: a multipurpose nonprofit campus designed to serve veterans, their families, and the surrounding rural community.
